Marriage Prep

Marriage and Family Life Preparation prepares engaged and previously married couples for marriage and family life by holding a series of meetings with deacons to discuss church teaching, referral to diocesan preparation programs, and by addressing individual needs such as previous marriages, annulments, natural family planning, blended families, and related topics. During the past year we ministered to 35 couples. Several engaged couples married, we encouraged numerous convalidations, and helped at least one couple recognize that they were not ready for marriage.
