Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation is one of the three sacraments of initiation into the Catholic Church. The other two are Baptism and Holy Communion. This sacrament is called Confirmation because the faith given in Baptism is now confirmed, strengthened, and empowered. During Baptism, your parents and godparents made promises to renounce Satan and to believe in God and the Church on your behalf. At Confirmation, you are now speaking for yourself, renewing those same promises, and committing yourself to mission of Christ to save others from sin calling them to sanctity.
"When Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them; and they spoke in tongues and began to prophesy." ( Acts 19:6)
How to Receive
If you are in high school and have been baptized in the Catholic Church, you are encouraged to participate in our High School Youth Confirmation program.
If you are an adult who has received you baptism and First Holy communion, please contact our office in order to meet with our clergy. The priest or deacon will help you complete your sacraments. You can also learn more about our RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) program that will help you through the process.
When We MEEt

*Parents & Student Must Meet With Carrie Before student Start Classes*
Confirmation is a readiness program of a minimum of Two Years.
Year 1 Classes begin Tuesday, September 3rd.
Both years consist of 5 classes that are 5-6 weeks long each.
Days classes are offered are Tuesdays (Year 1) and Wednesday (Year 2) 6:00 - 7:00pm. (unless there is a break scheduled).
*We will need a copy of the children's Baptism & 1st Communion Certificate as soon as possible.
Please bring it to the Parish Office.*
*LOS PADRES Y EL ESTUDIANTE DEBEN REUNIRSE CON CARRIE ANTES DE QUE EL ESTUDIANTE COMIENCE LAS CLASES*.
La Confirmación es un programa de preparación de un mínimo de Dos Años.
Las clases del primer año comienzan el martes 3 de septiembre.
Ambos años consisten en 5 clases de 5-6 semanas cada una.
Los días que se ofrecen las clases son los Martes (Año 1) y Miércoles (Año 2)
6:00 - 7:00pm. (a menos que haya un descanso programado).
*Necesitaremos una copia del Certificado de Bautismo y 1ª Comunión de los niños*
