Eucharist

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is a central part the Catholic faith and living the gospel. For it is in the regular reception of the Eucharist we truly are united to Jesus and transformed into the Body of Christ. Through the celebration of Mass, we engage the love relationship between the bridegroom and His bride, us the church. Through receiving communion during the Eucharistic celebration, or mass, the greatest expression of Divine Love is given and received both from God and through us. For this reason, participation is the priority of every catholic.

"Jesus said to them, 'Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day.'" ( John 6:53-54)

Who Can Receive the Eucharist?

Eucharistic celebration is the highest form of worship. We are to be prepared for this sacrament through a healthy engagement with the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

If you have not received the Sacrament of Holy Communion for the first time or you are not Catholic, you cannot receive the Eucharist yet. If you would like to be a part of the Eucharistic celebration, please learn more about our RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) program.

If your child is not in CCD or has not received their First Holy Communion, they too need to wait to receive the Eucharist. We have a wonderful and fun elementary faith formation and religious education program that your child can attend to prepare them for the Sacrament of the Eucharist.

How to Receive

Please join us at Mass if you would like to receive the Eucharist. (See personal limitations above.)
